Ok, so I have read through post after post after post on how to get these white boat fenders and dock wheels clean. After much debate I went to the local Wal-Mart and purchased several different cleaners with the hope that just one would work.

I tried Blech-Wite, no luck, but after spraying on Comet Spray Gel, Mildew Stain Removal they look like brand new!!!! First round I sprayed it on and immediately took a scrub brush and cleaned. Most of the grim, stains, etc. came off. With the stains that remained, I sprayed them again and left it sit for a good 15 mins. When I returned, everthing was clean. The beauty of it all, is the product indicates it is safe with vinyl and plastic. :smt038

Not sure if this will help anyone else but I thought I would share.

This is now in my category of "Must Try". Thanks!

I've found Soft Scrub to do as well...

Hmmm..... sounds like it works on freshwater crud & critters, wonder how it will work on the saltwater variety?

I'll have to give it a try in the spring.

Recently, I cleaned some fenders that hadn't been used in 10+years (from another boat) that had mildew, etc., using Simple Green and a nylon scrub brush. They turned out great, although the Comet product is certainly worth a try in the future....
