Boat Slip or Trailer?

Some friends of mine did a fall cruise last year (on a liner) and absolutely loved it up there... he didn't mention a railroad trip... is that a 'gold rush' era railroad?
We were thinking about it too...

We got the AK cruise for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They absolutely loved it. Their train portion took them up to Mount McKinley and Denali NP as I recall...
