Any ideas where best location for boat stands would be for a 1999 215 EC? Aft location pretty straightforward but not sure on forward set. First time getting blocked. Thanks

I'm surprised it's not illustrated in the owners manual. Someone in that forum would know.

The stands don't do anything weight related and only steady the boat. The weight is on the keel when they set the boat down. If the stands have much weight on them, they improperly set.

The blocking for the keel should include the two sling locations.

Put two blocks under the keel. One near the transom and one a couple feet BEFORE the keel starts to swoop up. You can use all kinds of things for blocking - wood, concrete block, foam blocks, etc. Use the boat stands on either side to simply keep the boat from tipping.

Another easy way to do this on small boats is blocking under each aft, chine corner and one under the bow. Nothing else is needed - no stands needed.
