I have gone through so many boat trailer lights. Even LED but just seem to burn out after a couple years. Can anybody recommend a high-quality rear rectangular trailer light that has worked well for them? I'm willing to pay very good money for something of good quality that won't burn out.

The products I've purchased in the past were between $50-$100 for a set. LED. I also am in the habit of unplugging the trailer lights before dipping the trailer in Michigan freshwater.

Thanks for any help you all have it to give.

Following this as I need to replace mine too.

Have you tried ones that are clearly marked submersible?

Also with led ..... is thar a replacement led bulb in an old unit or did it come new with leds?

I have had really good luck with Optronics LED marine trailer lighting. Haven't had one fail yet.
( I know, now that I said it they will go South on me)

eTrailer has them, as do many parts stores.

Side note, have never unplugged good quality submersible lighting before dunking.

I have always purchased submersible lights. The LED's are sealed in the housing but I notice that they are exposed to the water. Don't understand it.

I will check them out and get back with you.
