Bohicket Marina to Harbour Town

Does anyone have any experience going from Bohicket Marina in Seabrook Island to Hilton head through the intercoastal waterway. I wonder how long that would take versus going out into the ocean.

Sure have. ICW may be slow in parts due to passing safety if you want to go on plane. But only no wake areas are a 3 mile run between the bridges in Beaufort, and short stretches passing two marinas in Skull Creek on the north end of HHI. Although Brickyard Creek when you turn off St Helena sound is too narrow to go on plane. Same with the two cuts that get you to St Helena Sound. You can run free on South Edisto, St Helena Sound, Beaufort River after Port Royal bridge, Port Royal Sound and Calibogue Sound.

I’d say your best time on ICW would be 3.5 hours if everything went in your favor.
