Bolster pad

Hi, guys, I’m looking at a 290 sdx, used. The bolster pad at the helm is kind of soft and squashed. Is this normal? It feels like the padding isn’t very resilient. Is there a fix for it?

Reupholster in a more dense foam should fix it.
