BOW RAIL STANCHION ACCESS 06-40DA

I have to repair/remove the bow rail stanchions on the starboard side we’re the shower stall is
Does anybody know how to gain access to the BOW RAIL stanchion bolts from the inside of the boat on the starboard side. Especially the stanchion by the shower

Had to have the bow rail replaced on a 260DA several years ago. To access the stanchion bolts above the head, a hole was cut and then an inspection plate cover was placed over it.

Nice that’s what the fiberglass guy was telling me my stanchion is not bent that bad I’m just wondering if I bend it back you wouldn’t be able to tell but I’d have to buff out the gouging on the tube

I had to fix a stanchion after a buddy bent it at aft up I made an x cut in the headline, just enough to get a socket on it. After all was done, i used some kinda glue to fix the head liner. Weren’t perfect, left a lil scar in headliner. But was good enough i could live with.

Forget the cosmetic, if you try to bend a stainless steel stanchion, good chance you will lift it off deck, break seal, and have leak. I would try remove it, rebend on land, then replace and rebed/reseal.

Thanks all ! I it’s not noticeable , to anyone but me , I’ll probably do nothing now , wait till fall when put away , I do have a welder and a dealer to disassemble/assemble , the said they will have to put access in the top of shower stall but also said it’s not a problem I won’t even know , so I’ll close my eyes and let them do their majic
