I'm thinking about rebedding the bow rail stanchion bases on my 87 340 to try and eliminate sources of water infiltration which I've noticed in the starboard gally storage area where the A/C control is. does anybody know if the bases are attacehed with backing plates, or are they directly screwed into the fiberglass?
