looking for someone in the area with time for a visual on a 23' bowrider.
Of course I will compensate you.

Thanks Mike M.

Honest question, understand bow riders might be subject to bow spray without a bow cover but how come we see center consoles all over the bay with open bows??

Different hull designs. Although both open, the hull shape and flare differ considerably..

I'll add that most center consoles are designed to shed water that comes into the boat through big scuppers better than bow riders which typically rely on a bilge pump. We just this last month changed out our 24' open bow IO boat for a 25' CC with an outboard for exactly these reasons. Plus an outboard is far better for the salt environment than an IO.

I will be in Kent Island on 02/25 to do a sea trial if you can wait that long, driving up from Richmond, VA.

Been boating for 50 years and own 2 boats now. 23 foot boat with a big block, yup I get it and I want it. LOL
Sorry, when I hear bowriders I think 18’. I forget they making 35’ bowriders these days. My experience with a bow rider on the bay was not good. 18’ SeaRay. More water in the boat than outside. Sold it after 5 weeks. I should have built a plywood cover.

I have a smallish dock/lift and thinking about the dog. It would have to be front loading for him and a cuddy in swflorida would be useless, he likes to ride on the bow. Got a CC now and hate the sound of outboard, looking for the v8 rumble thru the manatee zones

Out of 197xx zip and may be headed there this weekend to look at a couple DB's myself.
Let me know if I can help.

Most owners of these boats take really good care of them, garage or inside storage. This guy has an undersized blue tarp over it even though he says its in real good condition and he sucks at taking pictures.
