Bravo 3 leak?

Hi all, I have a 2003 6.3L/Bravo III combo, the low gear lube alarm went off last weekend as we were coming off the lake. bottle was empty, so wasn’t a bad alarm.

I plan to dive in this weekend to see where the leak is, but wanted to reach out to the group here to see if there are any recommendations where to start.

My bottle developed a crack last year. now bottle, problem solved. look around after you launch it. There is either oil in the bilge, or oil in the water.

or, you recently had a drive service, it is just air bubbles working their way out.

Depends on how much fluid your losing. A trailer boat would be easy enough to check out. You can pull the lower drive plug for a sample to see if water got in.

Thanks all! Sounds like I should be able to track it down fairly easily. Hoping that it is a cracked bottle.

Its a leak in the bottle assembly, new one on order!
