Got a new Bravo 3 2.20 yesterday from DougRussell Marine in Worcester Ma.
Good price. Finally caved in. It was the last one they had in stock. Looking
forward to see the difference. Hope to have it installed to get a chance to
try it out before season ends. Not likely though. Went thru the Mercury Prop
Selector Guide. Not sure if I got it right, it recommended a 25 pitch. Russell
gave me a deal on a set of 26 pitch. If they don't work out he'll help me get
the best for my boat. Doug went into the official Merc. prop. selector and it
will be fine. Will that difference be a problem? Once it's done I'll be listing my
'09 Bravo 1 w/270 Hrs for sale if there is any interest.

What price do you define as a good deal? And it's new?

The price for the B3 was $8500. after tax. Got a set of props for $880. 2.20 gear outdrives are getting
hard to find. Props were used but decent. At Haskel & Hall prop shop being made perfect. Ironically,
they had been there before. Decided to replace 5.0 with a new 5.7 Mag EFI as well. Wife wants new,
foolish to argue.....Once done the 5.0 and Bravo 1 will be available. As of yesterday 278 Hrs.

I knew it would be a done deal before I even told her. Last year bought her a Porsche Boxster, no complaints
from her. I am worried though, scared to find out what I gotta buy her next. I already know what I'm getting
next but keeping quiet about it for now.

No such thing as one and done. Every gift leads to another bigger one but it does give you some leeway to hook yourself up
