Went to launch boat and upon starting the motor, the Check engine warning came on the Smartcraft Screen. Searay 240 5.0l, Bravo outdrive. There was also a message, engine lost connection and also the word Pitot flashed as well as Station 1. The buzzer did not go off when the mode button was pressed. I tried to reset the gauge, but not sure if this was done correctly. Recent work completed was oil change, lower end fluid change and battery replacements after the batteries were completely discharged and would not hold a charge any longer. Do not know if any of these repairs caused the buzzer to come on.

Check the drive oil reservoir see if it's low. No oil in there will give alarm. Perhaps it is low after doing the drive oil change.

Thank you for your input, I noticed it was dry and refilled, but maybe it takes awhile to make its way to the sensor. Thank you again

The alarm sensor is near the bottom of that little tank. If that tank gets some muck in the bottom, the sensor can stick in it if it runs down to empty.

To test, disconnect one of the black wired on the tank. If you still have an alarm, that's not it.

Do you have a reservoir on the engine for gear oil
