cabin bilge

Try and provide more info. Did you check the electrical connections? Is the pump running but not pumping? I've had it happen before where the impeller came loose from the shaft, so the pump was kicking on but just free spinning. Need more info...

ok, i put a new bilge pump under the engine, and can see it remove the water there, but when I switch on the cabin bilge, no water comming out stern exit hole. are there 2 pumps ? And like the name says im just a dum ole ironworker, but can follow directions pretty well, where mite i find a diagram or better yet a set of prints on this vessel ?

Dumb question but did you pour water down there for the pump to pump out?

Does it have a float switch? You can turn on the pump and just feel the pump if it's running you will feel it, If it has a float switch lift up the float and feel the pump.If NG check for power w/ a test light at pump and float switch, float should have power at all times, if no float switch, the pump is switched power. ck,switch, fuse or circuit breaker

yes, there is water in standing in the cabin floor. is there 2 bilge pumps on this boat? I have 2 different switches, one says bilge pump, other says cabin bilge.

think you spelld it rite, and works great on the bilge i can see,12.38 volts. just cant see the cabin bilge and dont know what to tear apart first to look for it.
