Any recommendations on a boat safe 110v cabin heater for a 25’ sundancer size cabin? Its that time of year, wife wants to be toasty.
By boat safe i mean tip over shut off and any other CG approved stuff.
PS. If you know any that do 110/12v like the fridge so much the better.

I use this in my boat and RV. There were on sale this past year for 1/2 price so I bought two spares sitting in my garage. I like the tip over safety switch on the bottom...

Pelonis ceramic heater. No exposed heating elements. Always had one plugged in beneath the helm for when it was chilly on Lake Michigan. Also, it is very quiet.

I use Honeywell ceramics all over the place including on the boat in the cockpit. They are nice, reliable heaters.

I use the electric/oil radiant heater like these. Delonghi Heater
They are silent and take the chill off. I found one locally at Ace Hardware that stands only 18 inches which works great in the individual state rooms.

Thanks all, got one coming tomorrow. Xtreme heater brand, $120 OUCH made for boats. Lots of safety features, low profile can set on counter. CG approved.

I think you overpaid :) That Xtreme cabin heater is UL listed....just like the $30 heaters. But heck, it's only money! They print more every day.

I believe the important feature to look for is no glowing red heating elements. The ceramic heaters enclose the elements in a noncombustible material making accidental fires less likely. At 110 volts there is only so much heat these heaters can make safely so they are somewhat the same in their output. After that, size is an important consideration on boats. Smaller is better plus having a quiet, two speed fan. Buy one that checks those boxes and you are good.
