There are so many different LED discussions, I'm now confused. I figured out (thanks to this forum) the cockpit bulbs, but I need help on exactly which LED bulbs I need for my cabin lights. I think there's 18, so I'd like to get it right the first time and replace them all in 2 weeks when we're back at the boat. Here's a pic of my light fixture.

Can you help me with a link to the actual bulb needed?

Also, do these things just pull out or is there a different trick for removal?

I eventually took out the bulbs shown and replaced them all with the back pin G4 style from Marinebeam. Much better quality of light, and bulb build is superior. Of course they cost 10x what the cheap Chinese version cost me...

This is excellent, perfect. Thank you very much.

Are the 9 LED round back pin ok to use? They are 120 lumens.

You're welcome... I'm not 100% sure but I think the 9-pins are the ones I used. I know they were less than $10 ea. when I bought them.

I don't remember which one I used, but I bought several single bulbs and then evaluated them in the fixtures. I liked the one that look like a real G3, with a white frosted bulb. Take your time us you will only be buying them once.

My buys from superbright all held up well for years, no issues. Those with the G4 base are nice they have gotten lower (height) over the years and that will fit in the fixture much better!!!

Thanks for the thread, I have the new style lights in the new boat and have lots of replacement to do there!!!

Did you ever figure out how to disassemble the light fixture in your pic to change the bulb? I'm at a loss, the lens seems to tilt back and forth slightly to angle the light, but I've tried twisting and yanking on them to where I thought I would break them, and stopped. I figured out the shower lights, it's a sealed glass lens, had to put a rubber jar opener over and twist ccw like hell to release and drop the lens. The other just twisted base and all, so I pulled that one down, it was held in by spring loaded brackets that of course snapped my fingers like a mouse trap (!!), anyways got a good look at the fixture, it's made in Italy (forgot name) seems nice quality, also had spade connectors for easy disconnect. Just FYI for anyone attempting bulb change in showers...

Our shower light did not have a replaceable bulb so I just replaced the entire fixture with an LED fixture: https://www.fisheriessupply.com/lumitec-led-light-mirage-flush-mount-recessed-down-light

It was a pretty easy job once I added the female connectors to the wiring. I purchased the warm white light and the light in our shower is now much nicer than the original light!

For the 400DA I replaced all lamps -
All cockpit and shower lights were replaced with this (I think 7 total): http://store.marinebeam.com/3-waterproof-flush-or-surface-mount-glare-free-led-puck-light/
Very nice light and plenty bright; The existing holes on the boat were slight larger than the fixture required but the screws and cover plate still worked fine.
All other fixtures in the cabin have this lamp (I think there were 17 or 18 of them): http://store.marinebeam.com/9-led-back-pin-g4-smd-power-cluster-novi-bp-g4-09x/
It has a soft light at 3000K and very pleasing.

Got the new lights today, but they don't fit with the silver reflector inside the housing. If you take that out, the led bulb (or disc) fits, but the glass is now loose and the bulb itself "floats"

What did you guys do for that? Need to secure the glass and the socket the bulb fits into.

With the bulbs I listed above I used the stock reflector

Should be ok then. The marine beam link I posted above and use are 150 lumens and provide a nice light compared to the originals.
