2000 sea ray 380 sundancer with the vitricore laminate. I have a spot that has come loose from the cabinet, it will be easy to clamp, what type of glue have you used, or recommend to use to fix it correctly

Thanks in advance
Chris

Its put on with contact cement but you can use a good wood glue and clamp good and wipe off excess with a damp rag. Wood glue will be easier to get in all the voids while contact cement is good if your working with a open piece.

Thanks for the fast response, I was hoping it would be that simple

If you have access to hypodermic needles, thinned Elmers Glue can be injected by lifting the veneer and shooting a little glue beneath the flap. Clamp and wipe the excess that oozes out.

Goood idea, what do you use to thin elmers glue down
Thank you
Chris
Elmers is water based, so just enough water to make it flow through the lumen of the needle. Try a 12 or 13 guage needle or narrower if possible so you can get more coverage without causing more of the veneer to lift or create a bubble.

So, after trying a few tries, I found another thread where they used weldwood rubber cement, let it dry for 20 minutes and put back together. I used blue painters tape to hold it for a week. Removed the tape, bam, looks great. So happy this is finally fixed…. Another item to scratch off the list. Thanks everyone!
