This may be one of the best threads in years on CSR. @hughespat57 you a can always create your own forum so you do not have to deal with “stupid” people. Funny thing in a long life, I have never been called stupid by someone smart. You should lookup @captainsundancer and @lacook their pig probably that weighs 500 pounds now and they need your help…

The ignore feature is a personal decision I can make about you. You are likely the dock guy that seems to always throw out his opinion even when nothing to do with the conversation. And you of course think the thread is about me and my "ignore" choices. That's of course because your post's are always about you being right and everyone else is dumb.

It's the constant bickering in threads where a member has asked a question. He provided information, some of it a bit vague and uncertain, some of it specific. We should answer the question or at least stick to that subject. He never mentioned towing over weight or insurance. "At or near" Given the info he provided and what I found on his model likely not over his towing weight. And the only solid information for the trailer would be on the VIN label. After that I'm sure he can do the math and make his own decision.

But some people have to start doing the "what if", and then argue about it on the OP thread.
Want to discuss insurance responsibilities let them start a thread on that.

I am running out of popcorn and coke...

Some of the posts here are general, vague - obviously some guy stuck on his boat on a Saturday afternoon, finds this site, posts real quick hoping for a solution to his problem. Then they disappear, or continue with the lack of detail/information. Should they be flamed? Probably, but it is what it is. I try to respectfully tell them we need more info if I think I can help. It's kind of like the guy at the dock who's working on his boat and walks over to a bunch of us shooting the bull for help. He's not "one of us", we welcome him and try to help him. I don't think we'd tell him he's a dumbass, at least not initially.

I think folks need to remember every time you post, if I am following the thread I get an email notification, which is a distraction and nuisance. Like a mosquito buzzing around your head :)

In general, it's the internet, the "world wide web", a public forum. There is nothing unique about Club Sea Ray. I see this on other forums.

You are not going to make everyone happy, you are going to rub some folks the wrong way, some will misinterpret your comments, etc.. Type out a reply, leave it there for a day, then delete it or submit me if you still think it adds value.
