California Gubernatorial recall

CNN showed votes lost on LIVE TV.

From 2.2 milion to 1.8 million.... they did it again!
 
The GOP missed a HUGE opportunity to turn California. I said it before with the 2020 election. You cannot win over the majority of people (and stay in power) by trying to win at the extreme edges. You have to win the middle. That is where the majority of voters are. The GOP picked a far right Republican candidate in a left leaning state. This was inevitable.

And that is what will happen in 2024 too if Trump runs again, or if his successor is like him. You can't take a 50/50 nation and turn it on a dime.

Mailing out 22 million votes, having votes subtracted on live TV and you're blaming the GOP.

There won't be another fair election in this country...

First pic is 2.2m then the screen flashed and it dropped 300k votes to 1.87m votes …… doesn’t give you a lot of confidence

Your political understanding is outdated and no longer relevant. You cannot win with democrat lite running against democrat. That simple.

The Federalist had a great article that illustrated the difference between the governance of repubs and dems. Ole Nancy knew she would lose the house if she rammed Obummercare through, and she did, but the dems wet dream healthcare revamp still stands. Cocaine Mitch and Ryan did nothing, as repubs usually do because they fear losing a member. Dems know they will be back even if their are a few party casualties...

I didn’t say “democrat lite”. You said that, because you believe that any Republican other than a Trumpian, is a RINO or your words “democrats lite”.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are saying. But it that is what you are saying, you are part of the problem (not the solution) with maintaining historical hard right conservative values in a world that is increasingly progressive in many ways, even if they identify as Republicans. Call them RINO’s and traitors, and you lose a Republican vote.

Convince the middle (center Republican or democrat) that conservative values are aligned in many ways and are not a path to far right, and you can maintain a lot by keeping republicans in power.

We have a federal election in Canada and our Conservative leader (O’Toole) is at risk of losing again to Trudeau and I hate that. And its because he is trying to appeal to his western more right base and is at risk of losing the middle that are fiscally conservative but more progressive socially (Canadians eh?). We shall see, but fingers crossed we can shift to a conservative government here.

Creekwood you're not getting it. Doesn't matter how many vote Republican, the Dems will just cheat more. See the 2020 Presidential Election, the Jan '21 GA Senate Runoff and now the CA Gov Recall election.

Speaking of Trudeau, I love how much he is getting heckled! Saw a clip where yesterday someone yelled "Where's your wife...I heard she's a _ _ _ _ _". God bless Canada!

I was once thought to be pretty socially liberal. My views and values have not changed in my life and he calls me "hard right". I really want to know what you perceive to be "historical hard right conservative values"?

You are drinking the coolaid bud. There is not widespread cheating on elections. Its just not true, there is no proof. There are literally thousands and thousands of Republicans that are part of the electoral system, on the ground, managing elections. If it was happening there WOULD BE PROOF. You are being lied to and strung along.

If there was widespread fraud, there are enough Republicans around that there would be thousands of eye witnesses, and lots of hard evidence. There is no evidence, because it isn't happening.

Please explain why there is no evidence in a Country where roughly half are republicans and half are democrats? How possibly can there me no real evidence out there? Real evidence. Not two screen captures of numbers changing on a broadcast of mid-election counts.

The fraud isn’t taking place on Election Day. It happens much earlier.

When the left doesn’t understand the unconstitutionality of what happened in the swing states, how would you expect to have a rational discussion about voting fraud? Let the trolls troll.
