Can someone with a smarter brain help me out

OP, it's a scam, consider the $1400 gone and don't throw any more good money chasing the loss.

Here is where their web is hosted:
Domain Name: SIGNALOPTIONXO.COM
Registry Domain ID: 2830534862_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.namecheap.com
Registrar URL: http://www.namecheap.com

Do you think a legit investment business would use a web hosting site called namecheap?
Good job Sir.

And an investment firm with a @gmail address?

Another boater turned me on to this. What he didn’t tell me was there was a 5g minimum deposit mark. Once I hit that mark I can withdraw my funds. I’m only 1400 into this. Give me a few minutes and I will add the site address.

Its t the top of the photo
Spelling errors and bad English grammar and phrasing in the web site text. I didn’t look earlier. Very obvious now that I look. Sorry for your loss.

88mm, nobody wanted to Fark with a Tiger tank. (Watched band of brothers marathon yesterday).

Hard to carry an 88 on your hip. Plus it took 3 guys to aim and fire the monster

They sent me this last night

At least they aren't quitters...
If they aren't capable of even trying to match any font on the document, perhaps they should.
That wouldn't pass in Photo Shop 101, let alone any self respecting forgery class.

Saw this in the liquor store today…. When was the last time you invested at the liquor store?

Probably in the early '90s.
My soon to be ex-wife had me investing in my sanity more often than should have been necessary.
Bitcoin, the lottery and marriage are a gamble sometimes you win ….. most of the time you lose

What does your fellow boater have to say about the situation? Maybe he's in on the scam, he directed you to it.
Woody, he said yesterday he had no issues getting his funds back out. He put in a much larger sum of funds. I express my concer, showed him the feed back here, all he could say is that it worked for him. I’m still on the fence. This is my first attempt in bitcoin. I know it is high risk. I’ve opened a wallet with Kraken

Perhaps the logical course of action to split the difference (and the one I believe I would take)
would be to tell him you will sell him your $1400 investment for $1000* cash, and gauge his reaction while you see what he says.

IMO, recouping a fat 2/3 of your investment would beat the likely alternative.

*You know him better than we do so adjust that number to what you're comfortable with.

One round would clear a whole line of trees.. remember Bastone and the tree bursts?
