I have only had this boat a few weeks and I cant always get it on plane.
I have twin 5.0 BIII with about 180 hours. the boat was salt water and now its fresh water. I am sure the BIII are all the way down according to the smart gauges and the needles on the dash. The boat is full of gas water gear u name it.
I have had the rpms up around 4500 before and the boat ran great for a bigger boat with 5 adults. I have trim tabs and have no clue how to get the best results and there does not seem to be an indicator on the dash as to the position of the tabs.
I had 4 adults a 12 and a 1 year old on yesterday and got on plane going out after a bit but not at all on the way back. the rpms would not go past about 3000 and there was a lot of water churning at the back of the boat but no get up and go. there was also a strong gas smell.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
