I took my canvas down last Fall to have it re-stitched and had a really tough time getting what I call the canvas retainer out. That is the part that slides into the front and back of the radar arch. I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and did you recommend any type of lubricant to help in the re-install. Thanks, Wiz.

I sprayed ours with water with a little bit of dish soap mixed in it..provided a little bit of lubricant. washes off when done. Also helps clean the track..

We also found that some of the screws that hold the track in place get lose and the "rope" on the canvas gets stuck as you try and slide accross them. We discovered that if you give a little outward tug on the "rope" as you slide it into the track that helps

Wiz, get everyone on deck and have everyone pull and push at once. Forget solo and 2 people isnt much easier. The soap idea works.
