First off let me say I'm sure Clearwater MM would of not done anything about it.

Anyways I just got a reply on the status of my boat getting it's 2yr/200hr (I have 57hrs) service after I failed at doing it myself, seems it's a good thing I failed!

:wow:

we found a corrosion warranty issue and we have to replace the transom plate - no charge to you. Good thing you brought it in, it would have overheated on you fairly soon. The water inlet hose thru the transom plate was almost completely plugged.
:wow:

I already asked him how this could happen but figured I'd ask you experts to put this into terms I might understand.

Hate to say it, but told you those guys have been good to me. Glad they are on top of things for you!

Yes you did, and at first I was not sure but they have proven them self now. :smt038

I still would like to understand more how something like this happens.

Guess I should of givin this a different title.

Hows does a boat with 57 hours that is flushed and washed after every trip and is never in the water more then a week at a time and is kept on a trailer have crossion issues?

I'm worried that either I am not doing something right or that Clearwater MM at the 1yr/100hr service didn't do something right.
