Who has removed the carpet baseboard in the salon? What holds it on and what did you replace it with? Looking to take the flooring out, and may change this out at the same time

yanked all the floor carpet and side carpet.

Went with vinyl plank flooring on all flat surfaces, on the sides, (baseboards) and step backings, new carpet, matching the vinyl floor planking.

Installed mostly with indoor/outdoor carpet adhesive and a few screws, as necessary.

Great opportunity to replace the outdated step lights with red LED's on every step.

I have recently replaced the carpeted baseboard with new carpet over the baseboard material. (Almost same color carpet as maybe a dancer’s!) On mine, screws hold the the carpeted baseboard to the wall, no glue.

Sliced through existing carpet to find screws. Also, The carpet wasn’t glued to the baseboard material, stapled in back only.

To reinstall Didn’t bother to try and reuse existing screw holes, used an awl to pierce carpet before inserting screws. Found out that the screw may pull a thread as it spins unless you pierce carpet 1st.
