we went to the in-water boat show in Charleston, SC this past WE.....it was a nice show....I spent some time on the Sea Ray 51 Fly and the 540 Sundancer.....beautiful boats.....I started talking to a couple ladies on the 540 Sundancer once they commented on my 'CSR' T-shirt I was wearing.....turns out one lady was the event planner for the entire show and the other lady was the daughter of the Hall family....

lots of nice yachts and large cruisers in the 40 - 55' range from many manufacturers as well as fishing boats of all sizes...there were a lot of used boats for sale as well...I would recommend the show to anyone in the SE...they have a VIP showing of the boats on Friday night with drinks and finger food....if you purchase a VIP ticket you get into the VIP showing on Friday and two free drink (beer and wine) tickets....the VIP packet also includes admission to the regular show on Saturday or Sunday......

I can't go to the boat shows anymore. My dreams are dead because I can't even think of affording a NEW bigger boat.....not that I'd ever buy a new boat again.

Mike,
I have no delusions of being able to afford those boats either but it was fun to see them and appreciate them....the Admiral got a few ideas on decorating as well.....

it was just a great WE spent on the water and around boats.....and Charleston has a LOT of great restaurants and entertainment options....
