Check engine alarm

I have a 2008 340 sundancer with 8.1 inboards. I keep getting an alarm going off that says check starboard engine. the boat goes into guardian mode and then the alarm clears. My mechanic hooked up his computer to the engine and gets no codes. The engine appears to be running normal when the alarm goes off. The fuel pump on this engine was just changed. Anyone has a similar issue?

There's a number of things that can put an engine into Guardian mode and probably futile to go into any detail there. If it went into Guardian, there would be a history of it stored in the computer and what system/sensor was complaining. Either your mechanic didn't look properly or doesn't have the proper equipement. Once someone gets properly into the system, the info presented will narrow things down.

What are ALL of the gauges (cycle through ALL of the smartcraft screens) showing when the issue happens?
