OK so we just bought this boat at Christmas of 2017. Took it out a few times and would have major issues with the vessel that the Marina that sold it to us took care of no questions asked. One of the issues was that the 93 amp fuse near the starter kept blowing. The dealer found the problem and fixed it, but, while my wife and I where stranded one of the times that this happened, we checked the fuses by pushing the red check button on the side of the fuse box.
In doing so, somehow the button fell apart. My question is, Does anyone out there know where I can get a new one or know of a replacement part or a hack to fix this. Thank you
BTW the boat is a 2003 240SD with Smartcraft 350 MAG with a bravo 3 outdrive.

Best to just buy a new one, “hack” repairs aren’t recommended on a boat.

See if there are 2 wires at that block a Red and a Orange. Orange is the alt feed back to the battery . I would only have that protected by the 90A link and use the 50?A for the main power. That way if you experance an alt problem and blow that fuse link the motor will still run off the battery power. I replace that plastic block with a Maxi-Fuse type, a lot easier to change the fuse

I believe he is referring to the EIM under the dash. Yes, those are still available through your dealer. They're going to be expensive until Sea Ray gets fully underway with the new company to make those. Another option is to check Flounder Pounder to see if they have any.

However, I would certainly look into repairing that little button - I've never had an EIM apart to that level, but this seems like an easy repair for anyone even halfway adept at electronic work.

On the other hand, if the boat is operating fine (which it sounds like it is), all that little button does is save you about 60 seconds of work. The "work around" is to check fuses the normal way - physically look at them.
