Clarion CMD4a Help

[Sea Ray Factor]

My sundeck has the Clarion CMD4a stereo. To the left of the stereo there is a an auxiliary outlet for an ipod. It has a black cover and is circular. I asked Marine Max where I can get the cord to hook up my Ipod to the stereo and they acted like they never heard that question before. Where can I get a cord to hook up the ipod thru the auxiliary outlet?

"The Shack" will have what you are looking for, but so will others like Target and Wal-Mart. I know you asked about an "Ipod" connector, but there are also generic auxiliary inputs. Not sure what you have.

For under ten bucks, I bought a Memorex kit that had a headphone cable, Ipod to headphone adapter and a few other pieces. This will allow you to use an Ipod or an MP3 player such as a Zune. I thought they used the same cable but they do not.

Thanks for the advice. I will run down to radio shack and pick one up. Just looking for something generic.
