Hi All,

I recently checked on my 2000 Sundancer 310 which is in outdoor storage and the carbon monoxide alarm is going off constantly. I also noticed that the charge/voltage on my battery is very very low. Is the CO2 alarm alerting me of the low charge on my batteries?

You answered your own question. Low voltage setting the sensor off.

BTW, batteries should be turned off and/or disconnected while in storage. So these types of things won't happen.

Welcome aboard!

CO monitors will alarm from off gassing of hydrogen from charging batteries.

Please be wary that it is doing it's job and you may have a CO problem and not just a faulty alarm. I'd buy one at the store and verify you aren't breathing fumes that could kill you.

Guys- his boat is on the hard with close to dead batteries. ...

Excellent point.......get one with a PPM digital readout.
