cockpit carpet replacement

Would like to replace the snap in carpet in the cockpit of my 1994 350 express bridge. Anyone know of a good place to buy marine carpet. I can cut the carpet and have it bound and put the snaps in. Would like to avoid the expensive outlets like snapincarpet and corentheum. Thanks

After owning 4 boats and dealing with carpet stains and rain, the wife and I switched to Luxury Woven Vinyl. Split Red wine washes away with a garden hose! And with kids on my boat, I don't worry about any messes. Also, does NOT hold water like carpet.
We purchase a 8 by 12 sheet and used our old carpet as a template. Cut it easily with scissors, had all the pieces bound by a local carpet company (100 bucks), and we put in colored snaps located to reuse the existing ones attached to the boat.
3rd season now. I will never go back to carpet again!

I like the looks of that. Can we see a pic of yours completed? What kind of price were the raw materials? I'm getting ready to replace mine as well and will probably go this route. Thanks.
PS. We miss Salem Harbor and all things Halloween around this time of year. We lived in Salem and worked in Marblehead for quite a while.

The picture don't do it justice. But honestly, it was one of the easiest projects I have done on my boat. Especially with all the curves due to my engine hatch. Suggest you double check your original template cuts, then fit and trim with scissors (easily) as needed before binding. Last add the snaps! We did this in 1 day, less the binding.

I like it! Seems to be a much better option for a boat.

Is this the Snow Pearl pattern? We are looking at this pattern and if this is it, nice to see a larger view of it vs a small swatch.

Color Choices in my photos: Linen Luxury #1. Yup, They will send you small samples. But it's a very uniform pattern. So the small sample is fine. We simply went by the color. Very happy with the product
