We are considering the purchase of a 2002 480 motor yacht. My research indicates that they were only manufactured from 2002 unitl 2005. That is a short production time for any boat. Does anyoen know why and what were/are the problems?

I wouldn't imagine problems as much as a narrow market. These are for people that enjoy living on them and will spend much of their time in the slip. Now if that's your thing fine! To each their own.
