I'll start with;

IPOD adapter/plug is in the cabinet on the side of the control panel(290 DA)...I didn't know it was there.

A cup full of various kinds of coffee sweeteners and sugars.

I bought my Maxum at a Police auction, there was $42,000 in the bilge!

Naaaaa, no such luck, my 270 had a hair curler in the locker, that conveyed to the new owner 4 years later.

Brand new blender
6 beers in the fridge(drank 'em)
24 beers in the cooler that came with the boat( pitched them,'cause the ice went bad)
A nice "make it legal" PFD bag w/4 adult PFDs
some fancy suntan lotion the admiral likes

But the best was a Captain Stubbing's Captain's Hat.

There are some things in life a man should never see, one of which I found neatly wrapped in a sandwich bag in the john of a 230 I bought one time. Still makes my stomach turn. Sorry, but you asked.

So far I think you get the 1st. place trophy!:smt038

Nothing will top what Gary's homeless squaters left, but I found a 30 amp to 20 amp pigtail which replaced the one I dropped into the river minutes before and a complete set of Ohio river Nav charts.... for a part of the rive 400 miles from where I boat:smt021

Depending on the boat, the first really cool thing was the Perko battery switch! That was AWESOME! The next boat had the emergency start relay and that was even better! Seriously, I found a couple of inverters, one that plugs into a 12 volt outlet and another 400 watter with some serious cables that needed to be attached somewhere. I also found the 12 life preservers the second owner told the 3rd owner about. They had been under the helm seat for 4 years and he never looked. He thought I was trying to break his seat when I opened it. All he could do was laugh! I also found these little 3M thingies. It looks like two wires go in from the bottom and then there is clear plastic and a red 3M cover. There are 5 of them in a long plastic keeper. I have NO idea what they are, but they are cool!

One of the things on my list of "I'll buy this if..." stuff, was getting the propeller fixed. It was a little dinged and dented. So the prop gets sent out to be redone, comes back all clean and shiny

After taking delivery and beginning the cleanup, I pulled the port seat to it's lounge position, and noticed there were two more props, one brand new still in original packaging in the storage underneath

After getting the boat to our marina on day one, we were making lists of what needed to be fixed, replaced, etc. One of the items was to get all the cockpit seats re-upholstered.

An hour later while going through all the storage areas, we found a big bag with brand new cockpit seat skins from Sea Ray.

However, under the heading of "What goes 'round....

Two weeks later the Norcold 12v/110v refer took a fatal crap. :smt009

We found a nice portable floresent light rolled up in the bimini. I also found a half full bottle of power steering fluid and about 12 life vests total (every forward compartement was full of those standard orange vests and there were three throwables!) I also found four fenders in the engine bay after purchasing a set...

Found a DVD player left by the previous owner. Also found his CDs, all of his chart plotting stuff, spare props and a tune up kit for the genny. I get the impression when he left the boat from using it the last time he never came back. Score for us!
