I have not seen any discussion on this issue yet. I have a 1999 370AC. Gas engines of course. The thing that has me qurious is the locations of the coolant reservoir. In my engine room the reservoirs are located on what seems to be a platform built over the lowest part of the bilge, mounted on the inboard sides of the stringers. This puts them at my feet in the walkway between the engines. So there is a 4 foot drop of tube length from the heat exchager pressure cap to the bottom of the reservoir of one engine and the other must travel 2 feet across the heat exchanger then has the same 4 foot drop as the other. I never see any fluid moving in these hoses although the fluid level is always on the mark in both and engine temps are good. I have often thought they could be in a better place because they seem to very low as they are now. Does any one have any advice on this, like I should move them to a higher level and closer to the pressure caps? Can they be effective being so low and far away? Thanks for your help!

My reservoir is mounted on the same exhaust as my ECM just on the opposite side.

Neighbor has one, if I see him tomorrow I will ask him about his
