In my ever-lasting quest to find my intermittent engine alarms I decided to clean-out my drive lube bottles - which, it turns out, were full of goo... After I did this I checked their operation with an ohmmeter and they are not always working as I expect they should.. So maybe I've found the cause this time... maybe..
Looking online I can find three types of bottle - each with a different angle on the oil hose connection. Of course, none of them match my old bottles..
So.. does anyone know if its OK to force/twist around the connection of a new bottle? - Will this damage the seal that's there?
Thanks in advance! - Nigel.
