Costco Battery

From an applicability/compatibility prespective I don't have a clue.

But if you are thinking about the quality aspect:
Haven't used their batteries, but have bought a lot of other Kirkland brand stuff. On that basis I'd rate them as a pretty safe bet.

I just picked up two Optima blue tops from Costco. I was a little leery as the date sticker said October of 07. So I assume they've been sitting on the shelf at least that long? Well I installed one without even charging first and the boat started right up. I'm pretty confident their batteries come off the same trucks that deliver to Sears and Auto stores.

You might want to think about Interstate Batteries too. I've been using them in my cars for years and put a couple of them in my boat last year. They are pretty reasonably priced and I've never had a problem with them.

Yurgo, Let me know what you decide to do. I still need a Big Dog Battery. If you decide on Costco batteries I may join you and purchase one myself.

We bought ours from Sams about 4-5 yrs ago and have been happy with them. I noticed that either Sams or Costco carried Energizer brand now which was slightly comforting from a name brand perspective. We will be replacing ours again this year and plan on buying them from there.

ImpulseIII - in the previous post you mentioned, only one or two people addressed my question. Then the post took a turn into discussing Optium Batteries. So anyways, thanks to those of you that answered my question. Please make sure you know what the original question is before commenting, thank you.

Hey Jyurgo, If your comment was meant as an insult to me .... go screw yourself. Seems to me if one or two people (as you stated) addressed your question, then how many other answers do you need to validate. Jeez......

Hey there, I have used the basic Costco flooded batts on my last boat and they seemed to hold up ok... i figured that with the 3 year warranty and the willingness of Costco to take back ANYTHING plus the price was about $50 each in Canada. As long as you moniter them closely....
