Been battling an engine stalling issue just out of blue.
Starts, runs for a minute then dies. I can wait a few minutes, same thing over and over.
(8.1 engines with Gen 3 newer fuel cool)
Long story short, I switch fuel cool modules from the good engine to bad, now it runs fine.
"bad module" has new parts, filters, verified good pumps with 12v, etc but today I noticed the bottom raw water inlet was totally plugged. I stuck a screwdriver in there and water came gushing out.
So my question is this. After just 1-2 minutes of running with no water flow will it really create enough heat in the module to create vapor ?? I'm hoping so because new modules are $1500 right now and I'm not at the boat to test this one that was plugged.
