COVID test results question

I went for over a year without getting covid... I get the moderna shots... living my best vaccine life and now I have caught a cold in the middle of summer...what the heck ?

Yup. And you can still get COVID. Ain’t that a bitch.

Me and my wife both tested positive right after Easter this year. Wasn't much worse than a regular cold. I work from home and didn't miss any work. Wife had to take the mandatory time off from her school job but she had a slight cough and a little congestion

I got "The Disease" last year. If it wasn't for the whole corona virus thing, I would have said it was just the flu. Down for three days, then felt generally run down for about another five. Yes, I did test positive. Latest research from a number of studies believes that having the virus is at least as effective as any vaccination, so I guess I'm good to go?

That's what's F'd up about this thing. My 50 something Office manager got it a few weeks ago. Spent a week in the ICU. Still out with lingering lung/heart issues.

I am in middle 50's, if I hadnt lost my sense of taste and smell, I never would have known that I had it. No other symptoms at all.

Me and my wife are both 52. I had an extreme headache and shivers for most of the first day then a little achy and a slight cough for a few days. I lost my smell but didn't lose my taste but will admit some foods didn't taste quite the same

Herd immunity is more reliable than the vaccine. With the vaccine you can still get the China virus although small probability but that small percentage doesnt mean a thing if you get it. Natural immunity is virtually 100% effective, that is until the damn thing mutates. Just like the flu virus and flu vaccine, although the Covid vaccine is technically, nor medically, a vaccine.

No one ever said the vaccine was 100% effective.
Also if you don’t need the vaccine if you have had Covid then why did Trump get vaccinated?
Another lie?
Remember he didn’t get vaccinated on TV!
At least Kamala never got vaccinated.
