Something I've been meaning to ask. Are the snap on/off port window curtains standard on an '04 280 DA? The '06 240 we traded in last Aug. had them and I have noticed in other member's photos of their 280's that they have them. There are no snaps on ours and there were no curtains that came with the boat. I don't see them listed as standard or optional on the Sea Ray website. Anyone else not have them?

My 04 280 didn't have them either - but I just figured they had disappeared before I bought the boat as my neighbor's 03 280 had them......mine had the "green" interior (berth) fabric

I thought all Sundancers came with them. The admiral would flip without them!

    Ditto

We use them. We often sleep onboard. By putting them up we can get the kids to sleep in longer in the morning. Also, we hang a beach towel over the edge of the port lounge in the cockpit. This acts as a curtain for the midbirth window.

I do not see them listed as a option for a 2003 280 'dancer. Must be standard.

They didn't come standard on my 03 240 dancer but they were on the 280. Although on the 280 I didn't get any screens for them, which sucks. Would much rather have the screens then the curtains. I wonder if you got the factory gen. you didn't get screens for the porthole windows?

Pres, she said maybe, but only if you had a bigger boat.

I have the screens too. Those are very handy in the summer when the skeeters' come out.

So far it looks like '03 has them but '04 doesn't. Anyone know about the '05?

The screens cost 5 bucks each and just press in to the open window, you pull them when the window is closed. I had to buy them since they either didn't come with my used purchase, they were lost by the previous owner, or Sea Ray took them outto re-sell the same ones to me:huh:

I have an '05 and it has both screens and curtains. Rarely could mine be called "whoopie curtains". Oh well......

I know this is a curtain thread but how about plugs for the sinks? Anyone get those? I didn't.

I was planning on getting some or at least 1 for the head (thanks for the info.). I am curious to find out if you had the factory generator if you got screens? The original owner said he never had any since new. Everyone that has responded so far with the 03 280 does not have the gen. option. (as far as I know)

But I do have all my plugs...

    I have them all.

The plug for the built in ice chest in the cockpit is worthless. It kept popping out.

We swapped it out for a cork that I cut down to size with a fish filet knife. The cork was $25 but we got a free bottle of wine with it.

Doug, I like that. I can't drink like I used to, I better only do one plug a day.
