Hey All, finally getting around to posting some pictures of our classic Ray's modifications I did the summer of 2011 into the spring of 2012. It's a 75 SRV sportbridge, but after 4 seasons of cracking my head under the very low hardtop....modifications had to happen and the bridge went bye-bye. My intent was to raise the top about 6". We use the boat as our regular fishing/tournament boat on Lake Ontario, so it spends every summer chasing Salmon around. The twin 165's have both been replaced and I really love those motors! They are so dependable. We also installed new sterndrive engineering outdrives a few seasons ago, installed hydraulic steering and replaced about 3/4 of every working part on the boat...

Now it's a one of a kind Great Lakes fishing boat ! Best of all I can jump up when we get a bite and not knock myself out :smt001

Here it is as I began cutting the top.

Would love to see more pics. I have a 73 SRV 240 Hardtop I have considered doing the same thing to. What material did you use?
