I own a 1998 Sea Ray 175 Br with a Mercury cruiser Alph 1 inboard motor. I have a small piece of my Blue coloured rub rail that is missing.
The part number is #776682
I only need a couple of feet.
Does anyone know where I could get some?

The better way to fix vinyl rubrail is to try and lightly sand/buff the area. It's hard to get it 100%, but it'll come out quite decent. Once you cut a piece out you need to replace the whole thing as both the repair piece and the existing ends will continue to pop out.

To get around that, you can install cover plates at the (2) junctions - but it kinda looks like a job only half done. Or you run screws threw the ends - but of course that is worse.

It's going to be really hard finding some place that has a roll of that stuff - really hard. About all you can is Google and call a bunch of SR dealers hoping that they have an old, dusty piece laying around.

Barbour Plastics is a huge manufacturer of this stuff - but you'll have to buy a roll.

Thanks for your suggestions. The worst thing is I am only missing 1 foot. I will try Barbour plastics. Taco Marine carries similar rub-rails but not quite my size.
