Dash Remote Problems

The original dash remote never had FF when I got boat. Actually found a nice one, I thought. Just yesterday FF stopped. Thinking of taking it apart off season but curious if anyone has same issue and fixed it. If not possible I'll get a new stereo. Any recommendations on a good system. Be nice if ones available with a same diameter remote that fits dash hole.

As far as recommendations for new, Fusion is very popular here. And no, the Fusion remote will no fit the same round hole.

July 28 days rain, Aug 10 so far. We have been out 5 times so far. I hope to get out by Sat.if rain
stops. The model is an'09 230 Sundancer. Sony Remote RM-X60M.

Weather is very crappy. To feel better I spent the morning working with Russell Marine getting a Bravo 3. Going to pick it up tomorrow AM. I hope it's worth it. Got a great price. As far as watering the lawn, we have no lawn. Our yard is all flowers and awesome trees. I do not mow well with others. You must be in NE, where is your boat. Mine is in Marblehead Harbor.
