Seems that the entire bank of dashboard switches (including the hatch up/down switch) on the starboard side is shot. The boat is an '06 290DA. Do I need a new bank of switches and is there a supplier anyone can recommend as to where to purchase it?
Thanks

That is odd. If you really need them, Flounder Pounder has them by the boatload, but that doesn't make any sense. I suspect you would normally lose a switch every five years or so in regular use. Were yours serving double duty as triggers for a videogame? Forgive me, but have you checked power in, and grounds out? Pull the dash (the switches will stay in place) and use a circuit tester to be sure you have power in and are creating a ground circuit. The odds of your losing a bank of switches the the same as two baseball teams being roughly up ten games in August and neither making the playoffs...simply can't happen.

I appreciate your timely baseball metaphor Jedi! Let me be a little more specific. On that bank of switches, the anchor switch stopped working shortly after I purchased the boat last year. Not a big deal as I don't anchor (mostly, though, because the anchor switch doesn't work!). For the past few months, the hatch switch, also in this same bank, began to become increasingly more difficult to activate. I had to press the rubber covered button very hard and at a downward angle. Now, suddenly, none of the switches work. The bank on the port side of the steering wheel all work fine. Do all of these switches work independently or is there kind of one unit that controls the bunch of them. This small electronic area is kind of alien to me. I sure appreciate your help...

This may be an EIM or Keypad Failure. I believe the OEM manufacturer is http://www.digitalswitchingsystems.com/

They may be of some help. Someone reported last month they do not sell direct but he was looking for a different part so I am not sure. Do you have a picture of it you can send them?

Check all the breakers on the EIM as well.
