Daylight Saving Time

Just wondering . For others does the fall daylight savings time throw your sleep off for a couple of days?
I have a hard time falling asleep the first couple of days..
I have a much harder time in the spring. Definitely messes with my sleep and I feel off-kilter for a few days.

Almost 5 oclock, and sun is pretty low in the sky. Man I hate this time change
My girl was at a lacrosse tournament yesterday. Last game started at 4-ish and the shadows were getting long. I actually wondered if it was still going to be light enough by the end of game.

Then we drove home from Albany area to Long Island via the Taconic parkway. For those that know it, it's a 4 lane parkway that is very twisty and fast with a lot of elevation changes. It's a really nice scenic drive in the daytime, and fun. In the dark, like last night, it can be a bit of a white knuckler at times. We took it because it got us home a half hour faster with less tolls.

Being retired, I'm trying to stay on DST. The dvr helps. I get up at 4:45 or 5 am and checking out before 10. But, even that's not helping. Outside lights are turning on before 6 pm and we're more than a month away before we start adding daylight.

Yep, fall a sleep earlier and wake up earlier. The first few days are not fun, except my dog is also off so he's not begging for his breakfast right away.

Love driving the Taconic during the day, but scary at times at night, especially when a deer decides to join the ride.
