I an rebedding three of my deck hatches today >Remembered someone posting that i should shim hatches so they dont squeeze to much caulk out of them leaving a nice thick gasket.I am going to use 1/16" toung depressors ,does that sound about right? The only other choice was 1/12" and they were narrower and seemed they would be hard to keep in place even with tape.Thanks all:grin:
