Hey I have looked around online for different snap in carpet kits as well as decking material for my 2005 Sundeck 200. What I find is that I have to measure everything and create more own template. Then send back to the company. The deck layouts are pretty universal. Does anyone know where to get a template for this or a company that has this info where you can order direct? Thanks!

You can try Corinthian Marine and Snap In Carpets. But, often, the existing templates/patterns you might see are based on a customer's measuring. Meaning, you're taking a guess as to whether that person measured correctly. Best thing is to make your own template - this is a very common way (and normal) of doing this. Regardless, you'll still have to install the snaps in the carpet to match what's on the boat.

So there’s no template that can be gotten from Sea Ray? You would think they would archive this info.

No, no template from Sea Ray - there never was. Although up to about 3 or 5 years past when the boat was made you could buy replacement carpet from Sea Ray - but after that, you'd go through the a place like Snap In. But I have to backtrack a bit - I had Seadek on my mind when responding. I haven't done carpet in a long time. Snap In might have the original template. Call and talk to them. If they have a "patterned template" that they can send you, buy that to double check. If all is good, then order it - if not, make the changes directly on the template.

Interesting. I have purchased carpets from both recently. (Corinthian Marine and SnapIn) Are you sure that they will cut, bind and ship a set of carpets to a customer based only on a past customer's measurements?

I have the templates for a 2004 200 SD....probably the same.

This is exactly what they do. They take a customer’s template, digitize it, and keep it on file for future customers. Some places will pay you a few if yours boat is not already in their files.

Corinthian sends you an image of the template they have on file with a quote for you to confirm.

If you go to Corinthian’s site and look for an 27’ Amberjack, that’s the template I made for my 2006 model.

With Ollie's confirmation helping me remember...

Yes, that is what they do. But that is also why you would want to double check that it's correct and order their template first.

Frederick - you may want to consider upgrading to the newer style of carpeting that Sea Ray (and others) have been using for a number of years now - woven vinyl. And, as luck would have it, a few posts above is a "known" good guy, Dave (Quint4) that could help you.

cool, great work template makers! Both my sets both fit perfectly.

I am a dealer for Infinity woven pvc flooring. Lots of pics on my website of finished flooring projects.

Great. I had gotten a sample/pricing from Corinthian (apparently they give 15% off for Sea Ray Club members) but they wanted me to measure, etc. The one I liked is the Black Teak with Aqualoc backing. If you have similar/better and already have a true template design very interested.
