In preparation for the "Fairness and Accountability in Broadcasting Act" (which will probably get passed by the same idiots that nationalized the banking, automobile, health and insurance industries in less than a year) I submit that my "Only Mate" and daughters take some exception to the fact that I have wasted precious hours indolently pursuing banal conversation on things like Vacuflush heads, and energy systems, and water...while they have been tasked with matters of gravity, such as matching colors with throw pillows.

I take some considerable consolation in the knowledge that-should we be stranded, out of power, or have frozen pipes-the throw pillows will match. (I am reminded somehow of the maxim regarding clean underwear and traffic accidents...but I digress.)
