Ok.... What's up with all the commercials peddling total body deodorant? Do these kids not take showers or what? How did I make it through 73 years without it?

Watching TV last night I think there were 4 commercials for it in a span of 2 hours. Lume, Mando and Secret, I think. o_O:oops:
 
It’s better than the endless drug ads that are 95% of the ads on US television. I just got back from 6 weeks in Florida and it’s night and day how many more drug ads there are in the US. Just ask your doctor - you might need all this shit. You know how you can tell that drug prices in the US are too high? The amount of advertising they do. There is big money in convincing people they are sick (or, god forbid - keeping them sick). I swear that the company that sells Ozempic must also own the soda companies.

Not just for armpits anymore - Boobs & butt cracks. They never mention fatty folds tho… :oops:

It’s not just deodorant. There are also all of these alleged specialized “intimate” razors. Don’t even start talking about the flavored lotion. The reprobates are a big market now-a-days.

It’s all marketing….. how do you gain market share with out gaining customers…… get your current customers to spread deodorant all over their bodies including butt cracks, under boobs, between your toes, behind the ears and private parts…… compare that square feet to an arm pit…… genius

By the way.....all these drug ads are not legal in virtually any other country.

Pharmaceutical reps are practically forbidden from promoting to doctors with any form of promotion or education. We can barely get a pen or pad anymore because it's considered unethical. But billions spent on direct advertising to the dimwit public is perfectly fine????

As a blond, blue-eyed guy of northern European heritage - I can't identify.

As a kid I used to get sunburn blisters if I was out too long without sunscreen. As in huge, water-filled blisters on my face. Now I have to get pre-cancerous shit burned off my face periodically.

Guessing I'm lucky in that respect. This was a couple of summers ago. Zero sunblock.
