Diesel Genset in a gas boat

A lot of people have been getting comfortable with installing a Diesel generator on Gas boat. Kohler got away from the gas world and no one wants to pay $12,000 for a Westerbeker. I rebuild Kohler Gas all 3 models and offer them to the public but have had customers want to change to diesel. I offer them a Phasor 4.5- 7kw very simple, no major electronics and a lot quieter than most. Has far as which is better out of all Manufactures is all personal.
