Trying to figure out how to remove the table to convert to a bed. It's a single pole. I was able to remove the table from the pole. The pole is lose, doesn't turn but it does wobble a bit. I unscrewed the base plat thinning the pole would come off. Nope, the base plate slides up and off the pole but the pole is still attached to something under the carpet. It won't turn but is quit wobbled without the base plate on. Thinking of usin a pipe wrench to see if it can be turned. Any ideas on how to get the pole off?
