Hi all,
We just bought our new '09 270 Amberjack. We have a family of four. I'm trying to sort out dinghy possibilities. Looked at a very nice AB inflatable with an aluminum hull, but at 8 ' 4 " it stuck out on both sides of our swim grid, and we were worried about catching too much wind when under way. I don't like the idea of a roll up, but we might have to go that way. Where to store it and the engine though?
Any suggestions from veteran Amberjack owners? Thanks!

Thanks Westie - I didn't know about them. They have some good alternatives to what we have here in Vancouver. I'm also trying to get an idea of what type of dinghies other 270 Amberjack owners have used, and where they put them. Any suggestions out there?

Try SeaEagle inflatible boats. See URL: www.seaeagle.com. The advantage is that they are inflatible and have a hard wood floor. I bought the 3-person SE-8, which I store in a 3'X2' B4 bag and can blow up in 20 minutes. I currently store mine in the engine compartment, but when I had a 300 DA, I stored it behind the steps as you walk down into the cabin.
