Dinghy motor lock?

This is my first trip where I will be renting a mooring and using our dinghy. We will not be staying on the boat, so the dinghy will be left at the marina overnight. Do most dinghy users have a lock on their motor? What else do you do to protect it from theft?

My motor has a lock on it. You may consider using a bike lock as well to lock the dinghy to something as well.

Mine also has a lock on the motor and I take the cut off cord with me. Bike lock for the dinghy itself sound like a good idea, as well.
